The 1st Special Mechanized Division of the German forces was only days away from discovering the Cell's secret base. So [[Maria-visentin| Maria Visentin]] scouted ahead in her stealthed walker and discovered an unmarked and well guarded German military base. She also observes patrols built around what [[Gunther-brandt| Gunther Brandt]] later determines to be a tank armed with a beam weapon of some sort. The Team put a plan together: Maria would lead one of the patrolling columns into an ambush and the remaining members of the team would annihilate the patrol while making it seem they had come from the north, from Dombes.
During a previous episode, the The Team made preparations to go to Egypt to follow up on the mysterious cargo the Valkyrie. The Valkyrie had hosted a high ranking member of Ahnererbe, an SS organization devoted to proving the racist theories of the Nazi party, including the notion that Germans were descended from Atlantis. So Maria and Gustav got drunk while examining the Nubian artifacts they had confiscated from the Valkyrie. This research was interrupted after a few days by a beeping from a small reactivated redbox.

Meanwhile, a German defector and resistant, Oriel Weiss arrived, having stowed away on a large German transport glider that had landed one of two battle walkers at an unknown German base. Trapped behind enemy lines in a well secured base, Oriel did the only thing she could. She jumped into the nearest walker and fought her way out. Fleeing wildly, she ended up leading a second column of motorcycles, Panzer IVs, and beam tanks into the ambush zone.
Nicknamed "Orby", the small redbox was revealed to be a Personal Assistant Device, capable of communicating audibly or telepathically with the Team. It also offered to "indoctrinate" the members. Maria, Gustav, Gessano and Roman were all indoctrinated gaining access to considerable information: Orby gave access to some knowledge about the laws of the Central Authority, but constantly requested to be linked to the nearest mainframe so it could update. Gunther and Oriande. meanwhile, refused indoctrination and set out to research what they could about the redboxes and how to reverse indoctrination. Gunther discovered that the redboxes running the Team's Meks had been altered to remove a layer of programming. Only residual battlefield data remained of ancient battles between the Central Authority, the Enemy, and their Deputy Species/Peoples. Oriande discovered that the application of sharp blows to the head or electric shock can reverse (apparently) the indoctrination, and all members but Maria were deindoctrinated.

After an intense battle, the Team managed to recover two intact Panzer IVs and the capacitor ring from one of the beam tanks and managed to escape just before a massive artillery bombardment saturated the combat area.
The Team arrived in Egypt where they made contact with the local British forces and found the remaining members of the Ahnererbe research team. Maria took some time to find and murder a Nazi soldier, and taught Orby to recognize it as an enemy, while the rest of the Team, with the help of Oriande's new contacts in the local black market, rounded up the rest and captured the lead scientist. It was revealed that the artifacts were not Egyptian, but of the Kerma and Kush cultures, part of the Nubian people which interacted the Ancient Egyptians millennia ago. The Ahnererbe, having discovered the redboxes among Nubian artifacts, concluded that they had been stolen from the Atlantians, which their Nazi propaganda insisted Aryans, and thus Germans, were descended from. This had led them on a wild goose chase, wasting valuable time because they were blinkered by their racist ideology.

After welcoming Oriel to their team and taking care of some personal business, the Team set out by truck to secure additional fuel from an SS fuel dump north of their area of operations. The mission was interrupted by Maria and Oriel wantonly murdering the ranking German soldier. Several SS deaths later, the Team secured significant fuel supplies for their operations.
The team found their way to the outpost Orby had been seeking to update at, a mysterious pyramid buried beneath the sand. Unfortunately for the team, Orby did not have the proper IFF/authorization codes to bypass the automated security system, which took the form of a massive obsidian scorpion. Unfortunately for the security system, Oriande's mek melted off most of its armor before Roman dispatched it with his mek's spear.

While the Team's operations have been going well, the Germans are bombing Britain into submission. The Team has been requested to try to divide the Luftwaffe's attention. The Team sets its sights on the nearby German base. What dangers await the Team at the heavily guarded German base?
Inside the outpost the Team found a simple Central Authority outpost with two sleeping mods, a conference room, and control center with a charging/linking station for PADs and a strange stone panel. After serious discussion, the Team allowed Orby to link with the station. The panel was revealed to be an incredibly advanced screen which showed that the solar system in fact had many caches of redboxes in orbit. As the "chief of station" was not available, a contingency protocol was activated. Using Orby's new IFF information, and rudimentary knowledge of the political situation gleaned from links to the Team, the redboxes were sent commands to deorbit and attempt to land in Allied territory, with allies accepted as "provisional deputy species (people)". One such orb landed near the outpost where it revealed itself to be in an accepting state to help "deputy species warriors" The trajectories of hundreds, were the panel including some impact the earth in seconds, days, weeks, years.
