The Solaran Union is the Human interstellar polity in the Vast Galaxy.
Humanity had been experimented upon heavily by the Zeta Reticulans in its past, leading to an interstellar agreement to not uplift Humanity, and to stop doing the butt stuff in general when experimenting without first obtaining enthusiastic consent.
Its recent acceleration into the interstellar world has been accompanied by a rush of colonizing in is near neighborhood. The Solaran Union is a voting member of the Interstellar League.
