The Solaran Union maintains a large Space Navy force.
Their starships tend to be larger, sturdier, over-engineered and over-powered when compared to other species' efforts, and always are built with multiply-redundant systems. Solaran Union Naval vessels rely on shielding and weapon systems provided by other polities, but frequently are known to assemble these components in unexpected ways.
