In an infinitely vast universe, there are bound to be some truly wild coincidences. In the Vast Galaxy, we get to decide about those.
Anyway, these aliens are just Bidoofs.
This is what bidoofs look like
The Bïdoofs are a protectorate in the ISL. They are nearly universally regarded as incredibly adorable.
They are sentient and sapient, though their communication skills are somewhat lacking and adequate technology to parse their language is not yet extant. They are capable of spaceflight, and have mastered turning the large trees of their homeworld into spacefaring vessels.
