Shakh is being handled by an individual, heavily cosmetically modified, posing as a SignetWorks employee. This person is decidedly from offworld, and is not SignetWorks, Peacekeepers, ISL, or Solaran Union. They last left the planet 6 days prior to the Horkos' arrival.

Known Activities

Music Box was first encountered by the Peacekeepers of the Vast/Peacekeepers of the Vast/Fabulists via the fridge camera of Shakh on Peacekeepers of the Vast/Peacekeepers of the Vast/Terhav VI and later observed via spaceport passport control cameras passing through the commercial spaceport of Terhav VI at the top of their Peacekeepers of the Vast/Peacekeepers of the Vast/Space Elevator.

Music Box was active for some time prior to the Peacekeepers of the Vast/Peacekeepers of the Vast/Fabulists' discovery of their activities, as the plan that they had devised involving Shakh et. al. (see Incident reports) was quite close to coming to fruition when it was thwarted. Their goal was clearly the sort of Black Swan incidents that the UE seems to use to absorb entire worlds into their polity; this would represent a major offensive into ISL Space and a covert act of war between two galactic powers, so all assumptions here must be hedged and fully developed before action can be taken.

Peacekeepers of the Vast/Peacekeepers of the Vast/Empire of Varris

The IVV Mindful Watcher Moves Well is captained by a compromised individual whose ties go back to the Varris Prince of Agriculture. This Imperial connection is retransmitting coded messages from Music Box to the UE listening post dish in Peacekeepers of the Vast/Peacekeepers of the Vast/hyperspace as discovered during Peacekeepers of the Vast/Peacekeepers of the Vast/Operation Crow and Pitcher.

Current Status

The continued transmissions from Khanate space suggest that the Music Box is still wound up and playing. Perhaps that will be its downfall... after all, the Peacekeepers of the Vast/Peacekeepers of the Vast/Peacekeepers know they're there.
