The Solaran Union maintains a large Space Navy force.
Their starships, civilian and military, tend to be larger, sturdier, over-engineered and over-powered with redundant systems. Solaran Union Naval vessels rely on shielding and weapon systems provided by other polities, but frequently are known to assemble these components in unexpected ways.
